Vic: Most findings already anticipated, Haermeyer
MELBOURNE, Jan 11 AAP - Most of the coroner's recommendations in relation to the fatalLinton bushfire had already been anticipated, Victorian Emergency Services Minister AndreHaermeyer said today.
Mr Haermeyer said he hoped today's finding by the coroner brought the closure of avery tragic event in Victoria's history.
"Lessons really have to be learned from Linton, and we must make sure that they arelearned and that they're acted upon," Mr Haermeyer told reporters.
