NSW:Keneally welcomes Lee presidency
It looks like MICHAEL LEE is set to take over as New South Wales Labor party president
.. with Premier KRISTINA KENEALLY saying she's looking forward to working with the former
Keating government minister.
Mr LEE will nominate for the position at a meeting of the party's administrative committee
on Friday .. when it decides on a replacement for union boss BERNIE RIORDAN.
The head of the Electrical Trades Union was forced to resign by Ms KENEALLY after his
union's magazine suggested supporting other parties' candidates at the March state election.
